Halford Mot centre, Manchester

Originally only contracted for the completion of the shell only, Chapelgreen successfully tendered and won the fit out of the facility direct for Halfords.

The shell was constructed of traditional portal frame design and was constructed on piled foundations with a concrete slab poured to strict tolerances for the MOT testing of motor vehicles. Use of insulated roof and wall panels and aluminium windows and doors along with traditional brick and fair-faced blockwork internally completed this project within close proximity to Manchester city centre.

The fit out which was completed to Halfords specification included all electrical and mechanical items and also included the supervision of the installation of specialist equipment along with traditional office and shop fitting services.

A successful project was delivered on budget and early to facilitate a strict opening schedule from Halfords.
