The need for a speedy construction and minimal disruption to the teaching environment led the nursery to look for an innovative product to suit their needs. The accommodation comprised large teaching/resource areas, toilets specifically designed for nursery age children and kitchen areas along with internal and external stores.
The layout of the containers was efficiently utilised to enable the large doors to house all the nursery play equipment and the recess allowed for large roller shutters that formed a secure area for the nursery staff to leave all large and bulky items.
The school and nursery appreciated the speed of the build and the minimal disruption that our offsite construction methods afforded. Safeguarding issues were kept to a minimum duration on site and there was a limited number of Chapelgreen staff on site, especially when compared to a traditional build method.
The finished product carries with it a life span typical of a product which is designed to withstand the harshest of elements in a marine environment and its windows, roof coverings and finishes all are as would be used on a more traditional build so carry with them the same assurances and guarantees.
“I have enjoyed working with Chapelgreen Contracts Ltd for several years on a wide range of schemes. They continue to deliver on time and on budget.”
