Westleigh Methodist Academy, Leigh

A 16-week duration was set as a target by the contract administrators to complete works to both the 2-storey kitchen and staff room extension along with a separate foundation area extension in a further location within the school grounds.

The fit out of the school kitchen was completed by trusted and proven specialists and Chapelgreen have completed numerous commercial grade kitchen installations such as this and are able to offer assistance and design input to ensure the works are completed with minimal disruption.

The phasing of the project, largely completed within a live school environment, needed careful management and close liaison with the school staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of classes and provision of school meals. It was of paramount importance that the school remained largely unaffected and Chapelgreen worked hard to ensure that the controls in place provided this for the client.
